Villa. c1820-32 with later additions and alterations,
including mid-C20 bow window. Stucco over brick with hipped
slate roof, 4 end and ridge stuccoed stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys on basement with 5 first-floor windows
arranged 4:1 (that to right set back); service range to rear.
First floor band. First floor has 6/6 sashes. Ground floor has
bow through basement and ground floor with multi-pane casement
windows; otherwise two 6/6 sashes and, to right, a tripartite
6/6 between 2/2 sashes (some lugged) in plain reveals and with
sills. Basement has 8/8 sashes. Entrance below 3rd window:
solid porch with 2 pairs of Doric pilasters, steps to C20
3-panel door, with frieze and blind overlight. Rear retains
8/8 sashes.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Park Place was developed by 1832.
