Terrace of 5 houses. 1837-40. By TE Owen. Stuccoed. Welsh
slate roofs except 10 which has interlocking tiled hipped
roof. Each has rendered stack to right, 2 has slate clad stack
to left. Each 3 storeys, 2 bays. Horizontal rustication to
ground floor. Nos 2-6 each have a moulded panelled door on
right with fanlight, up 5 stone steps with flanking coped
balustrades and end piers. Nos 8-10 each has C20 door with
fanlight set within recessed surround, and up 8 stone steps.
On right of door Nos 2, 4 and 8 each have a 16-pane sash; 6
has an 18-pane sash; and 10 has a 16-pane sash on left in
projecting wing. First floor: Nos 4 and 6 each have two
12-pane sashes, 6 with C20 balcony with iron brackets and
balustrade; Nos 2, 8 and 10 each have a tripartite sash,
central sash 12 panes and flanking sashes of 4 panes; Nos 2
and 8 also have a 12-pane sash. Band over first floor. Second
floor: Nos 2 and 8 each have a tripartite sash with central
6-pane sash. Right return (to No.10) has sash to each floor.
