End cottage of terrace of 6. Probably early C16, much altered
and refronted early C19. Timber framed, rebuilt in brick
rendered with lined stucco. Steeply-pitched plain tile with
brick dentilled eaves; no stack visible.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; single-window range. On 1st floor,
remodelled 3/3/3-pane casement with projecting sill. On ground
floor, similar 3/3-pane casement window under segmental head
with channelled voussoirs, keystone and projecting sill. On
left, plank door in moulded surround with similarly-moulded
arch. Plinth.
INTERIOR: large fireplace with timber lintel and adjacent
stairs; exposed brace and cruck framing; chamfered spine beam;
internal chimney breast on first floor.
