Two houses and shops, part of a continuous row with Nos 24 &
26 (qv). Mid C18 with later alterations. Brick rendered with
stucco. Plain tile roof with 2 roof dormers and painted brick
dentilled eaves; no stack visible.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. Dormers gabled
and with 4:4-pane casements. Plat bands to each floor. 1st
floor: segmental-headed 9/9 sashes with thick glazing bars,
exposed boxes, sills, and shallow moulded keystones. Ground
floor: to centre and right, a double shopfront of 2 plate
glass bay-windows, each of 2:6:2 panes, flanking paired
remodelled entrances with C20 glazed doors, all under
continuous fascia and dentilled cornice supported by end
pilasters.
At left end, a further shallow bay shop-window with moulded
glazing bars, decorative heads to plate glass lights, deep
cornice, and doorway on right with part-glazed C20 door.
