Detached villa. Mid C19. Stucco with stucco detail; dry slate
hipped roof with projecting eaves plus pedimented wing to
front left, another pediment to right-hand return; stuccoed
stacks with moulded cornices. Double-depth plan with entrances
to return walls.
2 storeys; 1:2-bay front. Ground floor with round-arched
windows: canted bay window with moulded cornice linked to
string to projecting wing on the left and sashes with some
glazing bars removed; 3-pane fanlights over French windows to
right. 1st floor has original 12-pane hornless sashes. Other
elevations with many original features.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
One of a good group of villas in Mannamead which was developed
after 1851.
