Gates and railings surrounding part of garden of large country
house (qv). Probably early C19 incorporating C17 fragments.
Wrought-iron railings over a granite plinth of re-used C17
chamfered fragments of mullioned windows which presumably had
become available in large quantities following the remodelling
of the house in the C18. The railings and gates have simple
turned arrow-head finials. The pair of gates are aligned with
the centre of the E elevation of the house.
