Uploader's Comments

The Lady Chapel occupies the east end of the north aisle. It was installed in 1936 and dedicated to Mrs. Stewart Garnett M.B.E. Mrs. Garnett was well known for her charity work, and from 1911 to shortly before her death in 1935 she was Commander of the Pendleton Branch of the British Red Cross Society. Her work for the Society in WWI gained her the M.B.E.
