House. Early to mid C19. Brick in Flemish bond with stucco
dressings. Roof parapeted.
3 storeys over basement. Symmetrical elevation of 3-window
range. Up steps to round-arched entrance with double doors of
C19 date; entrance set under porch consisting of Tuscan antae
and responds, the side walls pierced by round-arched lights
with glazing bars of original design; entablature and blocking
course, the latter damaged. To either side a round-arched
window set in round-arched recess. All windows with projecting
sills, all upper-floor windows flat-arched with gauged brick
lintels. Sashes of original 8x8 design to all windows. Storey
band between the 1st and 2nd floors. To the right of entrance,
taking up the basement area, a mid to late C19 shop front.
