Pair of houses. Early C19. Amber brick with stucco dressings;
moulded stucco cornice and blocking course.
3 storeys and basement, 3 bays each, No.160 with 3 storey,
1-bay later extension to right; No.162 with 2-storey, 1-bay
later extension to left. Stucco Doric porches in slightly
recessed entrance bays; doors with cornice heads and patterned
fanlights, flanked by fluted Ionic half columns. Inner 2 bays
have ground- and 1st-floor windows in round-arched recesses
with stucco string at spring. All main windows are sashes with
flat, gauged-brick arches, those to No.160 with glazing bars.
Ground-floor and some 1st-floor decorative iron grilles to
windows; ground-floor stucco sill band.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Nos 152-166 (even) (qqv) form a group.
