Baptist church hall. Dated 1887. By George Baines; the builder
F and HF Higgs. Brick in English bond with stone dressings.
Gable facing roof of slate.
STYLE: Gothic Revival.
PLAN: rectangular in plan, narthex to the road.
EXTERIOR: west front has gable with quatrefoil window, two
double trefoil windows and setback buttresses with stone
finials. Elaborate narthex with central arched entrance
flanked by buttresses.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
The hall forms a group with the later Honor Oak Baptist
Church, Forest Hill Road (qv). Included for group value.
