Barn. Circa late C17. Timber frame on stone plinth, clad in weatherboarding; NE end wall rebuilt in stone rubble. Corrugated iron roof with gabled ends. PLAN: 3-bay barn with central threshing floor with cart entrance at front. EXTERIOR: NW front has full-height double doors to cart entrance at centre. NE gable end has ventilation slit in stone rubble wall with weatherboarded gable above. Later lean-to at rear SE and cartshed at SW end. INTERIOR: 3-bay frame; large scantling wall-framing, 3 square panels deep; jowled posts supporting tie-beam trusses with queen-struts, diagonal ridge-piece and trenched purlins; common-rafters intact.
