Farmhouse. Early C18 range with late C18/early C19 addition.
Rubble to early C18 house, with gabled pantile roof;
colourwashed render to later extension with stone dressings,
ashlar copings, plain clay mansard roof and end rendered
stacks.
PLAN: L-shaped plan of original single-depth, 3-room farmhouse
at right angles to road extended to west end wall by larger,
late C18 addition which has double-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: long, 2-storey; 3-window range to rear; 2-storey;
3-window later range facing road. Symmetrical later main west
front with slightly projecting pedimented central bay; plinth,
chamfered quoins, plat band above ground and first-floor
windows, band to cornice, blind parapet. All windows are late
C18/early C19 12-pane sashes with plain architraves. Central
doorway with tent canopy hood on wrought-iron supports;
panelled door, part-glazed with intersecting Y-tracery. North
wall of rear range has irregularly-spaced fenestration with 3
early C19 paired casements to ground floor under wooden
lintels, late C20 glazed door to right and 2 early C19 12-pane
sashes in plain reveals with sills to first floor; south wall
has small late C20 outshuts.
