Pair of gateways, gate piers, attached garden wall and gates.
Probably of 1771, by Thomas Bennett and coeval with Saltford
House (qv). Ashlar to piers and wall coping, squared and
coursed rubble to wall, wrought-iron gates. The gate piers are
square-section stone posts with blocked rustication and
moulded plinths and caps, connected by dwarf wall. Shallow
dish-like urns on slender stems to all piers except the
left-hand pier of the eastern pair which has lost its finial.
Fine double-leaf gates to eastern pair. Extends approximately
15m to enclose front gardens of Saltford House (qv).
