Farmhouse, now house with attached wall and railings. Probable
mid C17 core with mid C19 additions and late C20 alterations.
Whitewashed rubble with wooden lintels, ashlar copings and
gabled pantile roof with 2 gable end brick stacks; rubble wall
with ashlar copings and cast-iron railings.
PLAN: L-shaped plan with C17 ranges parallel to road and at
right-angles to road; mid C19 bake-house extension to rear.
Original through-passage, 2-room plan.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey; 2-window range. Roadside front with C20
casements irregularly-spaced to left angle and to right of
central late C20 glazed door; 2 gable ends to projecting wing
with 2 further C20 casements and 2 ground-floor and one
first-floor casement to inner face. Large external stack to
north return wall. Original doorway at angle, now a casement.
INTERIOR: flags to floor in parallel range and run-out stopped
chamfered beams with inglenook fireplace to ground-floor
right-hand room with wood bressumer.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: low, coped front wall spear-head railings
encloses front courtyard.
