Terrace retaining wall and balustrade. Late C19. Tall,
battered rubble revetment wall with occasional buttresses.
Ashlar dressings to central flight of parapeted steps leading
down to lower garden. Balustraded parapets with square dies
along the top of the revetment to the front of terrace garden.
Forms a significant part of the setting for Hamleaze (qv).
