Detached house. Early C19 with late C20 addition (known as the
Annexe) and alterations. Whitewashed render with hipped slate
roof and 3 stone stacks: one central and 2 either side.
STYLE: Late Georgian.
PLAN: double-depth plan with central stair hall and 2
reception rooms either side.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey and attic; 3-window range. Symmetrical east
front with plinth, end pilasters with incised anthemion
decoration, full-height, segmental-headed outer recesses and
oversailing eaves cornice to hipped roof. Windows to recesses
are 16-pane sashes; those to ground floor with horns, those to
first floor are late C20 glazed metal units. First-floor
central tripartite window under flat head with late C20 glazed
metal units; large 3-light flat-headed roof dormer. Projecting
porch on incised square columns with flat hood; round-headed
moulded architrave to doorway with 6-panel door and spoked
fanlight.
