Town house, now part of shop. Early to mid C19; altered. Red
brick in Flemish bond (with paler headers, giving a speckled
effect); with sandstone dressings and slate roof. Double-depth
double-fronted plan. Georgian style. 2 storeys and 3 windows,
symmetrical; with 1st-floor sillband and late C19 brick corbel
table to gutter. Semi-elliptical headed doorway with gauged
brick head, set-in Tuscan doorcase, door with 2 round-headed
raised panels and plain overlight; windows sashed without
glazing bars (those at ground floor unhorned), all with wedge
lintels. Now linked to Nos 1, 3 and 5 by C20 addition to
right. INTERIOR remodelled. Forms group with Nos 1, 3 and 5
(qv).
