Barn. Probably C18. Coursed sandstone rubble with quoins,
through-stones on 3 levels, stone slate roof. Rectangular plan
on east-west axis, facing north, probably 5 bays.
Segmental-headed wagon doorway offset right, with long rubble
voussoirs, stone slate drip-band and a loading doorway
immediately above; doorway to left also with loading door
above; and blocked doorways at both ends, with stone slate
drip-bands; small square breathers randomly distributed.
INTERIOR not inspected. (Modern sheds attached to south and
west not of special interest.) Forms part of a notable
farmstead group with Garsdale Hall (qv) and with coach-house
to south of Garsdale Hall (qv).
