SO67SW Group of 2 headstones approximately
482-1/11/126 1 m east of chancel of Church of St
Peter

GV II

2 headstones. Early C18. Sandstone ashlar.
Headstone to north: sandstone ashlar slab with curved top.
Incised carved skull and crossed bones above inscription.
Commemorates Abigail Beeston d.1724, daughter of Rev John
Rusbatch.
Headstone to south: sandstone ashlar slab. Rectangular slab
with rounded edges. Incised festoon ornament above the
inscriptions, both only partially legible. Commemorates Rev
Rusbatch and family. John Rusbatch was rector of the parish in
1658 and Samuel Rusbatch from 1668 to 1733.
