House at end of row. Late C17, front rebuilt late C19. Local
stone with red brick and ashlar dressings, Welsh slate roof
with coped gable to west, continuation to east, brick end
chimney stacks. C17 2-unit plan with rear stair turret,
originally part of a larger property with No.75 (qv).
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic, 2 bays. Plinth, sash windows
in brick surrounds, 16-pane to ground floor and 12-pane to
first floor, attic windows set under small gabled dormers,
with 4-pane sashes. Central entrance set under a blind panel,
with C20 door up 2 steps. high in west gable a small C17
window with moulded surround and flat hood.
The rear wall is in rubble, in 3 storeys, and with a
projecting stair turret under swept-down roof to the left; it
has at the second floor level a 2-light leaded casement, and
two 2-light ovolo-mould stone casements to the first floor,
above a deep lean-to roof. The stair turret has two 2-light
casements, one with a stopped drip-course.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Probably built with No.75 (qv), perhaps as one property, later
divided.
