House. C17 with C20 restoration. Timber-frame with painted
brick and plaster infill on rubble plinth; steeply pitched
half-hipped thatched roof with some tile to eaves. Brick end
stack and stack to rear of ridge. 3-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: single-storey plus attic; 2-window range. Entrance
to right of centre has C20 plank door. Group of three 2-light
small-paned casements to left; small square light and 2-light
small-paned casement to right; first floor has raised eaves to
left end with single and 2-light small-paned casements,
2-light casement to centre. Square framing with bracing to
attic floor.
Brick left return with partly timber-framed gable. Right
return adjoins The Owl Pen (qv).
