GV II

House. C17 with C18 alterations and C20 addition. Timber-frame
with painted brick infill and painted brick to ends, all on
rubble plinth; steeply pitched tile roof with brick end stack.
L-plan; 2-unit cottage with gable to left, which has catslide
outshut to left return; extended by C20 addition to right.
EXTERIOR: single-storey plus attic; 3-window range. Entrance
to gable right end has gabled canopy over wide-boarded door in
moulded wood frame. Hood; a small window to left has glazing
bars. To far left a canted bay window with hipped roof over
small-paned casements; similar bay to right has leaded
glazing; right end has two C20 windows; attic floor has C20
flat-roofed dormer with leaded glazing. Square framing to
central section below dormer.
Left return has low casement window; right return has canted
oriel to each floor.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
