Former farmhouse, now house. C17 with later alterations and
additions. Timber-frame with painted brick infill on painted
limestone plinth, the left half of brick; steeply pitched
thatch roof with 2 brick cross-axial stacks and end stack, all
to front of ridge. 4-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: single storey plus attic; 4-window range. Entrance
to left of centre has doorcase with moulded pilasters,
simplified consoles and open pediment to 6-panel door (2
panels glazed). Windows mostly have 3-light leaded casements;
ground floor of left half has 2 segmental-headed windows,
2-light leaded casement to left and small-paned iron glazing
with central pivoted light to right; those to attic in eyebrow
dormers. Late C20 single-storey addition to left return.
