Forest Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mid to late C18. Brick on dressed stone plinth and
with some rubble and plaster to left return and rear; tile
roof with brick cross-axial stack.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Brick plat band over
ground floor and top modillioned brick cornice. Entrance to
right of centre has 6-panel door and C20 hipped porch. Windows
have rubbed brick cambered arches with stone key blocks over
3-light transomed pegged casements, that to ground floor right
with small-paned glazing.
Left return has coursed rubble with plastered 1st floor; small
square sundial; C20 casement to attic.
Rear has 2 gabled wings partly rubble, mostly plastered;
lean-to outshut adjoining single-storey service wing to right
end.
