Farmhouse. Late C18, extended mid C19. Red brick; Welsh slate
roof with stone coped gables and brick end stacks and rear
ridge stack.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and basement; symmetrical 3-window range.
Top moulded brick cornice. Entrance has restored doorcase with
pilasters and consoled open pediment; fanlight over 6-panel
door. Windows have sills, and rubbed brick flat arches over
16-pane sashes to ground floor, 12-pane sashes to 1st floor,
and 6-pane sashes to 2nd floor, 2 with timber lintels. Window
to left return has 16-pane sash.
Right return has steps down to entrance to basement under main
range.
To rear a 2-storey mid C19 double-depth wing with unhorned
12-pane sashes and door in round-headed recess; end has 2
gables, triple sash to ground floor left and 3-light casement
to ground floor right; right return has 12-pane and 16-pane
sashes and one 8-pane sash; cross-axial stack.
INTERIOR: noted as having stick-baluster staircase with turned
newels and moulded handrail, and 6-panel doors with
architraves.
