House. C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-frame with
painted brick infill on painted plinth; partly rebuilt in
brick; old tile roof with brick cross-axial stack, stack to
rear of ridge and stack to left end of higher right end unit.
3-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: single storey with attic, rising to 2 storeys at
right. 3-window range, with 2-window brick addition to left
and taller single-window brick-fronted range to right.
Entrance to rear. 3 square 9-pane windows, the middle one in
brick forward break with sill; 2 similar windows to left and
one window to right, to right of brick projection with offset
to left. Gabled roofs. 3 gabled dormers have 6-pane C20
casements.
Right return has exposed wall posts, tie beam and principals
halved and crossed to gable head.
Rear has timber framing to left part; centre has C20 brick
wall with parapet over 3 windows to each floor, those to
ground floor reaching the ground; gabled single-storey wing
with attic to right.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
