Barn. C19. Brick laid to Flemish bond; old tile roof.
EXTERIOR: 3-bay structure. Top modillioned brick cornice with
course of ventilation holes just below. South side has
segmental-headed entrance with plank doors, and
diamond-pattern breather to left; to right of entrance is the
attached stable and outbuilding (qv).
Rear has entrance with rebates for missing doors and
diamond-pattern breather to each side; similar breathers to
gables. West end has attached stable and cow shed range (qv).
Gabled roof.
INTERIOR: C19 king post trusses with diagonal struts;
segmental-headed pitching hole opens into stable. East end has
attached single-storey range with 2 wide openings to north
side, one partly blocked with shuttered opening.
One of a group of buildings on 3 sides of the farmyard to the
north of Lower Ingon Farmhouse.
