House. Early C18. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled thatched
roof with brick cross-axial stack. 2-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2-window range. Altered entrance to right
of centre has timber lintel above lower C20 door. Ground floor
has old single-light window flanked by 2 windows with late C20
casements, that to right below timber lintel to former
entrance; first floor has large window and small window, both
with 2-light leaded casements with wrought-iron casement
fasteners.
Right return has attached porch to The Little House (not
included) and windows under timber lintel with pegged 2-light
leaded casement with iron opening casement. Rear has lean-to
outshut with slate roof and old first-floor window flanked by
C20 gabled dormers.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Part of a row of 4 houses with Nos 27, 28 and 29 (qqv).
