Terraced house. Early C19. Stucco. Roof obscured by blocking
course.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and attic over basement. 2-window range.
Front wall forward of terraces to either side. Flat-arched
entrance with over- and sidelight to right wall, lintel
articulated by voussoirs; the door has 3 panels below an
elliptical light filled with glazing bars and dates from the
late C19 or early C20. Ground floor treated as chamfered
rustication, which steps out to form rusticated Tuscan
pilaster to either side of entrance; a similar pair of
rusticated Tuscan pilasters implied by floating capitals at
the left of the ground floor. Entablature to ground floor
terminates at each party walls in a pair of console bracket
stops. Quoin strips rise above these to entablature and
blocking course above the attic. All windows from the first to
attic floors are segmental arched with architraves and have
keystones of diamond rustication; architraves to first-floor
windows are eared and shouldered with panelled spandrels
below. Projecting sills to each second-floor window supported
by a pair of corbels. Cornice sill band to attic windows.
Sashes of mid C19 design, 2 x 2.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
