Terraced houses. Early C19. Stucco, roof obscured by parapet.
3 storeys over basement, one-window range to Hampton Place,
No.34 with 3-window range to Upper North Street. Ground floor
decorated with banded rustication. No.34 has a modern shop
front to the corner; flat-arched entrance with pilasters and
entablature, that to No.34 in Upper North Street; No.32 has a
shallow segmental bay to 3 storeys with tripartite windows,
sashes of original design and a bracketed balcony to the first
floor with cast-iron railings; on No.34 there is a similar bay
to the first and second floors only, with sashes of original
design; cornice and blocking course; on the return of No.34
the westernmost first-floor window and the 2 westernmost
second-floor windows are blank; the others have sashes of
original design; stacks to party walls.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Cast-iron area railings to No.32 with
spearhead finials.
