Four tombs in St Peter's churchyard
GV II
4 table tombs, approx 3 metres from the gabled annexe on the
south side of St Peter's church. All of stone and of similar
design, with a vase- shaped body interrupted by rectangular
panels on all 4 faces. The nearest to the church, Henry
Smithers and others, died 1769; then Bartholomew Smithers,
died 1791; then David and Ann Dring, died 1802; then Lady
Emily Caroline Nassau Hervey, died 1814.
