Terraced houses. c1855. Stucco, roof of Welsh slate.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys over basement with dormers; No.32 of
3-window range, No.33 of 4-window range. Outer, entrance bay
to each house slightly recessed; the inner part has long and
short quoins, those to the ground floor vermiculated.
Segmental-arched entrance with overlight. All windows to inner
bays flat-arched, those to ground and first floors on both
houses have blind boxes; continuous balcony to ground floor
with cast-iron railings; storey band between ground and first
floors; first-floor windows have pediments on consoles and
individual balconies with cast-iron railings, except those to
the outer bays which are round-arched with bracketed sills,
segmental pediments and original glazing bars; storey band
between first and second floors, missing on No.32;
second-floor windows have eared architraves and bracketed
sills, except outer window to No.33 which lacks all mouldings;
sashes of original design to this floor of No.33; band and
modillion cornice to inner bays; blocking course; dormers in
mansard roof; stacks to party walls.
