2 terraced houses, now one. c1829. Stucco, roof obscured by
parapet.
EXTERIOR: 4 storeys over basement with dormers, 6-window range
to King's Road, 5-window range to Cavendish Place. Ground
floor decorated with banded rustication. Entrance in enclosed
porch in Cavendish Place flanked by 2 pairs of pilasters with
narrow windows under hoodmoulds between them, cornice and
blocking course; the entrance itself has a panelled door of
original design though now glazed. All windows flat-arched,
those to the ground floor in King's Road with blind boxes;
both fronts have giant Corinthian pilasters to first and
second floors and storey band between those floors;
first-floor windows to King's Road have blind boxes and
balcony with cast-iron railings; cantilevered rectangular
first-floor bay to left in Cavendish Place with pairs of
pilasters flanking flat-arched windows, the windows themselves
having ornamental mouldings to the architrave; band of
guilloche ornament between pilasters; entablature and blocking
course; attic storey, with flat-arched windows under round
arches to King's Road; full-height canted bay to right of
porch of mid-C19 date with mullions treated as pilasters with
stepped capitals, bracketed balcony to first floor, and
cornice; cornice and blocking course; dormers in mansard roof;
stacks to side and to former party walls presumably.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Cast-iron railings to steps and area with spearhead finials.
