An Electrically Powered Scherzer Rolling Lift Road Bridge built 1925 by Alfred C. Gardner Docks Engineer to the London North Eastern Railway. Contractor Sir William Arrol & Co, of Glasgow, for the Grimsby Corporation, to replace an earlier Swing Bridge. A Grade II Listed Building.
