Clee Hall Farmhouse, formerly known as Mordaunt Hall, built late 17th Century or earlier origins stands within a Medieval Moated Site. It is believed that Captain William Bligh (Of HMS Bounty Fame) Sayed here whilst making his survey of the River Humber Estuary from Spurn Point to West of Sunk Island Aboard HMS Director in 1797 (A Grade II Listed Building)
