8 houses, linked pairs. c1830. Stucco with low slate mansard
roof behind cornice and blocking course resting on giant
Tuscan pilasters rising between windows from cornice above
banded ground floor.
3 storeys, basement and attic, 3 bays each (the inner 2
slightly projecting), with 1-bay recessed outer entrance
links, now of varying heights. All except Nos 203 & 205 have
square distyle Doric porches (some now filled in) with fluted
columns and entablature. Ground-floor sash windows are
round-headed in round-arched recesses with voussoirs.
Upper-floor windows are mostly sashes with glazing bars and
have moulded architraves, those to 1st floor taller and with
cornices.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Nos 197-201 have cast-iron area railings.
