Pair of houses. c1840. Stucco with low pitched hipped slate
roof behind pedimented slightly projecting central section
(with later window in tympanum) and cornice to outer bays.
2 storeys, attic and raised basement, 2 bays each. Steps up to
entrances in outer bays; recessed doors flanked by Doric
pilasters supporting entablature. Stucco architraves to
(mostly) sash windows with glazing bars, those to ground and
1st floors of central section larger and in giant, slightly
recessed segmental-headed panels. Bands at ground- and
1st-floor sills.
