Outbuiilding, now house and attached wall. Probably early C18, altered; converted
to house 1950s. Brick, plain tile roof. 1 1/2 storeys; 1 x 2 bays, gable-end on.
C20 leaded-light casement windows throughout. added gabled porch projects on
right with oriel window and door in left return. 4-light window to ground floor;
canted bay window above. Stack in left roof pitche. Single storey addition to
left side built against approx 2 metre high tile-coped brick wall which projects
from building and returns to front in rubblestone with domed top. Rear: paired,
chamfered, 4-centred brick arches with brick imposts and key-stones; moulded band;
C20 3-light first floor window; tile-hung gable. Interior: large-scantling tie-
beams, at front with queen-post truss, at rear with queen-strut truss; clasped
purlins; wind braces.
This building is associated with the Old Garden Walls which now belong to No 24
(q.v. Item 12/71) but which formerly belonged to No 30 (Church House, q.v.).
