additions, late C19 cladding and later C20 alterations. Timber frame with brick
underbuilding and tile cladding with decorative bands of fishscale tiles; plain
tile roofs. 2 storeys, rear section with attic. 2-bay timber-framed section,

A stair dormer added to right side of front range and mid-late C20 1-storey

with architraves above; hipped roof. Porch on right has panelled door, the
upper pointed-arched panels glazed. Left return: on right, C20 glass door under
C19 bracketed, pent roof, C20 window above. On left is truncated chimney with
some stone quoins and old brick at base, but brickwork mostly renewed. Interior:

beams between the 2 bays indicating existence of former walling, the first floor
and first floor ceiling possible insertions; pointed-arched light and tension
brace in left wall of rear bay; roof partially visible having queen post truss
at rear end, square-section rafters and mind braces. The chimney has a large
fireplace with timber surround on ground floor, the bressumer with sawn-off
ends of former projecting timbers (probably suporting coving); on 1st floor,
fireplace with stone surround and moulded architrave with shallow Tudor arch
on plinths: round floor has old board door under stairs (up to 1st floor premises)
and rear wall of rubblestone with reused nail-studded cross-fLy board door into
