House. Mid C16 with C17 cross wing, extended in late C19 and C20. Timber
framed, exposed to right end with brick infill and to first floor left.
Red brick to centre, blue and red brick to left. Horsham slab roof to main
house, plain tiled roofs to extensions. T-shaped plan with cross wing to
left and parallel, projecting, wing to left end. Two storeys with square
ridge stack having two arched panels to north and south and one arched
panel to east and west sides, to left at junction with cross wing. Square
similar stack with two panels on each side to centre. Two diagonal stacks
on offset sandstone plinth to right end. Gabled extension to left, one 3-
light leaded casement window on each floor. Gabled cross wing has jowled
post and two first floor casements over one 4-light ground floor window.
Four leaded casements to first floor centre and left, two to centre under 3-
light eaves gabled dormers. Four windows to ground floor. Gabled porch to
left of centre with C20 ribbed door.
Interior: substantial timber frame visible with crown post roof to main
range, queen strut roof to cross wing.
