Cottages)

GV II

Cottage row. C17, extended and altered in Ct9 and C20. Timber framed,
exposed to rear of No. 5, clad in colour-washed brick, render and roughcast
to front. Plain tiled roofs of varying heights, stepping up to right.
Nos 1 - 3 two storeys high, Nos 4 and 5 one storey and attic under three
tile-hung gabled casement dormers through the eaves. End ridge stack to
left and further stacks to left of centre, rear right of centre and
right end. Four first floor casement windows to left, four below including
one in a C20 pentice roof extension to left end. Three cambered head
ground floor casements to right. C20 stable style door to left (No 1)
in pentice porch, glazed doors to left of centre (Nos 2 and 3). Two
glazed doors to right (Nos 4 and 5). Right hand return front: frame
exposed with curved bracing. Gabled and tile hung extensions to rear.
