Farmhouse. Circa 1600. 2 storeys to main range; 1½ storeys to mid-C19 brick
lean-to along the back wall. Timber-framed and roughcast rendered; clay
pantiles; an internal chimney-stack with a plain rebuilt red brick shaft. 3
windows: small-paned casements in flush frames, those on the ground floor
larger than those above. C20 plank door. The house now has a 3-cell lobby-
entrance form, but a join in the frame inside indicates that the 3rd unit is
added. Plain ceiling-beams exposed in all ground-floor rooms: joists set
flat, main beam with chamfer and stops. 2 open fireplaces with timber
lintels.
