Farmhouse. Early C19 front range; C16 rear range at right-angles, in 2
stages. 2 storeys and attics to front, 1½ storeys to rear. Timber-framed,
plastered and lined; black glazed pantiles. 2 end chimney-stacks to front
range set externally, with plain red brick shafts. A small late C19 red brick
porch extension on the extreme right. 3 small-paned sash windows in flush
frames to front range, and a central glazed door with panelled pilasters and
an added mid C19 cast iron portico. Plain framing and roof-timbers are
exposed in part of the rear range; at the far end, the dairy and cheese
chamber, with separate stair: the cheese chamber with an unglazed and slatted
window.
