Cottage. Late C18. 1 1/2 storeys: 2 -cell plan. Timber-framed and rendered
with clay pantiled roof. Internal chimney-stack with a plain white brick
shaft. 2 2-light small-paned early C20 casement windows, and 2 dormers with
shallow-pitched gabled roofs. Plank door. Inside, the timber of walls and
ceilings are exposed: long primary braces bisecting thin studs, joists set on
edge. A single-storey lean-to along the rear, in the same style, is
contemporary with the front range. Included for group value.
