TL87 SE GT. LIVERMERE CHURCH ROAD

House. Late 16/early C17. Timber-framed and rendered, with slate roof and wide
overhanging eaves. 2 storeys and attic. 2-cell lobby-entrance plan: internal
chimney-stack with plain truncated red brick shaft. Double wall plates,
visible in the gable end, indicate that the house was reroofed, probably in the
C18, when small-paned sash windows in flush frames were put in. A late C19
enclosed gabled porch, door with 4 flush panels, rectangular fanlight above. A
C19 extension with pantiled roof at rear, and a mid C20 flat-roofed single-
storey extension on the south side.
