Detached house, now 2 houses. Early C18 altered c1800.
Rendered, probably on brick; grey slate roof, ridge parallel
with front.
2 storeys, 5 windows. C19 part-glazed door in round-arched
opening with slim columns to rebates; hood on substantial
probably Victorian consoles; recessed sashes, two of 16 panes
left of entrance, one of 12-panes right of entrance; inserted
door in gabled porch to No.31. Five 12-pane sashes to first
floor; simple eaves; bargeboards; 2 chimneys before ridge and
one visible behind ridge. The left end has doorway and a
12-pane stairsash, a 16-pane first floor sash and, in the
gable, a square 10-pane attic sash.
INTERIOR: only No.29 inspected; some alterations consequent on
sub-division of house; substantial 6-panel doors, one with
short central panels; shuttered embrasures; some cornices; a
good oak dogleg stair, parallel with front, open string and
stout turned balusters.
