Farmhouse. Dated 1771. Coursed squared gritstone, low-pitched
stone slate roof with gable ends. 2 storeys, 3 bays, rear
outshut. Quoins.
Central entrance with quoined jambs and large lintel with
datestone above with 'JR 1771'. Flanking 2-light flat-faced
mullion windows to both floors: glazing-bar sashes and plain
sawn stone surrounds with external shutter hinge pins, centre
1st-floor single-light sash. Later brick chimney stacks over
gable ends. Left return: added rear outshut has plain surround
to framed plank door right, mullioned window of 2 unequal
lights; above the doorway a loft door to upper room (bothey)
over the kitchen, with no existing internal access.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
The farm is said to have been part of the Cardigan estate
before it became the property of the owner of the nearby
Booth's Mill (demolished).
