House, now restaurant. Early to mid C19. Painted roughcast with slate roof. Three storeys; symmetrical two-window range. The windows have painted stone surrounds with projecting sills, and a first-floor sill band. Glazing bar sashes with margin panes. The doorway has a painted stone surround with round head and impost blocks. The door, reached by two stone steps, is of eight raised and fielded panels. The gable chimneys have limestone ashlar caps. The gables have bracketed verges and the left-hand gable wall is angled to follow the line of the lane. It contains a round-headed stair window with Gothick glazing.
