Small barn or stable. Late C17. Timber framed, plastered and tarred.
Thatched roof. One small slatted ventilation opening. 2 boarded doors, one a
stable door. Against the east gable end a later lean-to of clay lump, also
tarred and pantiled. Larger pantiled lean-to on opposite gable end, latterly
used as a garage. The frame has straight primary braces. Clasped-purlin
roof. Most components of thin scantling. An attractive building which
contributes to the setting of the adjacent house (qv.Item 8/98). included for
group value.
