Farmhouse. Late C17 altered in mid-C19 and C20. Coursed and dressed
rubble; stone slate roof; brick end stack to left and ridge stack to
right. 'L'-shaped plan, formerly with through passage. 2-storey
front, in 2 parts: projecting gabled wing to right; large ashlar quoins
and gable edging; 2-light casement first-floor window set to left;
stone surround now part-blocked indicates window extended to right and
was central under apex; set-back wing to left; low mid-C19 lean-to
against left end; 3-light stone chamfer mullioned window part-over
right side of lean-to on first floor and blocked 2-light chamfer mullion
window placed centrally over ground floor composition; 3 windows of
2 lights to ground floor all in chamfered reveals with evidence of mullions;
enlarged window against lean-to on left, under blocked window to centre
and against projecting wing to right with boarded entrance door set to
left of right-hand window. Differing stone coursing indicates several
phases of building. Interior: timber framed through passage partition
set behind right side of door (being removed at time of resurvey -
September 1984); stone wall to left, rear door now blocked.
